Click the Link below to start downloading Messenger Plus

You will be then asked to "Run" or "Save" the file to your computer (I suggest choosing to "Save" the file as you may want to reinstall it at a later date or copy the file for friends to use)

You will be asked where you would like to Save the file, for this i suggest you save it onto your "Desktop" so you can loate it easily once the download is finished (you can always move it off your desktop later or delete the file once you have completed the installation)

Once the download is complete, the installation file will appear on your desktop or in the location that you choose to save it.  It will look the picture below

Click the installation file/icon to install Messenger Plus onto your computer.  It will open an installation wizard which is simple to follow and will automatically restart your MSN Messenger

Sign back into your MSN Messenger account which will open the Messenger Plus 3 configuration wizard read throgh the configuration wizard carefully and choose any of the options or tools that you would like to use. (dont worry you can access the configuration wizard again later if you dont like some of the changes you make the first time you use it)



If you need to change the setting on Messenger Plus later or for some reason the configuration wizard does not start on its own the first time you use it.  You can access the configuration wizard by:

1.  Clicking the link "Plus" on your MSN Messenger Window (Appearing above your display picture)



2.  Then Click "Configuration Wizard" from the drop down menu

The last step is to remove the all the sponser software from Messenger Plus! (which is not needed and may cause your computer to run slowly or may have some annoying pop-ups connected with it, and we can all do without them)

First goto your "Control Panel"

Click "Add or Remove Progams" this open a list of all the programs installed on your computer

Scroll Down the list and locate "Messenger Plus! 3" and Click "Change/Remove"

Select "Uninstall the sponser program only" and Click "Uninstall"

You will be prompted many times once to type a code that is provided to confirm that you want to go ahead with the uninstall, then once to make sure that you want to remove the software and then once to let you know that to complete the uninstall your computer will need to be restarted



Dont let any of these prompts stop you from going ahaed with uninstallation of the sponser program they are only their to try and deter you from removing it as they like to be able to have their annoying advertising pop-ups coming up on your computer
